Our client, a Fortune 100 services company, is seeking a senior Public Relations leader to join their state of the art PR, Crisis Communications and Marketing Unit. This role has accountability for assisting with the development, implementation and coordination/monitoring of all media coverage and related communications for the corporation. Responsibilities will include working very closely with a very involved senior executive team nationally on management of external messaging, managing the external PR agency and it's activities, proactive crisis communications management, working with field PR and communications staff and executives on regional PR issues, creating/developing working relationships with external media sources, working across the company and it's divisions in driving and managing a consistent & compelling message and establishing/maintaining a favorable image of the corporation and it's brand on a national basis. Communicate proactively on company positions with the media, industry analysts, financial community, government agencies & advocacy groups, other internal and external stakeholders and the general public. Qualifications: APR Preferred - PRSA Certification of public relations expertise 10-15+ years experience as a Public Relations, Crisis Communications/Issues Management Leader with top companies and/or global agencies. Substantial experience working closely with C-suite executives. Strong management background, great oral and written communications skills.
