Responsibilities: The Event Manager is responsible for the organization, development, and implementation of strategies across the corporation for global events, meetings, conferences, and seminars. This position encompasses the management, organization, budgeting, communications, production, site planning, site selection, coordination of vendors and venues for internal and external corporate events around the world. Most notably, this individual will execute on the company's most critical and visible corporate event - the Client Conference. This event is critical to delivering key messaging, training, and networking with our core market. This is a dynamic opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven history of success in executing user conferences. This position is hands-on in the day-to-day execution of all aspects of the program including planning, budgeting, execution, vendor management, analysis and reporting. Responsibilities for this and other internal events would include:
Experience with external event management is also required, including exhibition at trade shows, event sponsorships, and promotion of internal experts for speaking engagements. Candidate must work with the rest of the Marcom team, product marketing, sales teams to identify show/event objectives and produce an integrated plan in support of those objectives. About You The candidate needs to be detail oriented, have the ability to analyze the details and make decisions, possess excellent communications and organizational skills, manage projects as assigned, and work with little supervision. Travel is required.
